SIG was formed by Danny Brooks in 1980 with its corporate offices located in Cookeville, TN. From 1980 until 1993 SIG was a RGA with Kentucky Central. During that period SIG was in the top 5 of all RGA's for 11 out of the 13 years.

In 1993 SIG along with the Eagle Group out of Dallas, TX, created Century 2000. Century 2000 was one of the first Marketing Organizations in the industry. In 2001, SIG along with Midwest Financial founded AIMCO. AIMCO is one of the leading life insurance distribution networks in the United States. It has 11 members operating throughout the entire country. At the end of 2007 AIMCO had over 7000 producers and did in excess of 100 million of life premium representing 8-10 of the top companies in the industry. SIG and its partners market individual life insurance, disability income insurance, long term care insurance, and fixed and indexed annuities through a wholesale platform to agencies and producers.

SIG over the past 27 years has produced over 100 million of life premium and today has 7 employees and a Regional Director to service all of our partners. By having the affiliation with AIMCO, SIG is able to offer great companies, give excellent compensation, and that along with our impeccable service makes it a win-win-win situation.
